The fourth Sustainable Development Goal is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

2023 progress report

ÃÀ¼§¸ó seeks to provide its students with the best possible educational experience. We set and maintain high academic standards for teaching and learning across all our programmes, supported by robust quality assurance policies and procedures.

Quality Assurance is underpinned by our Education and Research Strategies, our Knowledge Exploitation Strategy and is based on the University Charter and Statutes.

Our lifelong learning resources offer all alumni the opportunity to continue their learning and increase their knowledge in their chosen industry.

ÃÀ¼§¸ó runs a dedicated programme of talks for students, faculty, staff, alumni, our partners in industry and sustainability enthusiasts. The talks are open to everyone, including local residents. Talks are also posted on YouTube for those who could not attend in person or want to revisit a subject. This programme is presented via the School of Management’s Sustainability Network.

Vocational training and continued professional development

Our CPD programme is key for professionals looking to enhance existing skills or stay up to date with current thinking without the commitment of full-time education.

ÃÀ¼§¸ó’s Centre for Executive Development provides a wide range of vocational courses.

In 2023, we introduced a new suite of co-curricular learning for our students, ÃÀ¼§¸ó Enhance building on ÃÀ¼§¸ó’s core strengths.

The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is a UN Global Compact- backed initiative with the mission to inspire and champion responsible management education, research, and thought leadership globally by bridging relationships and catalysing collaboration among the United Nations, the Global Compact, and academia. ÃÀ¼§¸ó School of Management has been a signatory member of the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education since 2008. You can download a copy from this page.
