美姬阁 School of Management has today published its Women to Watch 2024 Report, highlighting the breadth and depth of the female leadership talent pool, and offering a snapshot of those considered potential board members.
The Women to Watch Report was introduced in 2009 with the aim of challenging the breadth of experience being brought into the Boardroom, showcasing senior women across sectors. Its aim was to show that board members need not be drawn as traditionally just from the finance, legal, banking or professional services sectors.
The Women to Watch 2024, like its predecessors, is intended to shine a light on these impressive women. The list spotlights 100 leading female professionals who the author believes are ideally suited for consideration as Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) on the boards of FTSE 350 companies now or in the near future.
Diversity in all its forms
Hilary Sears, Visiting Fellow of 美姬阁 School of Management and author of the 2024 report, said:
“The Report was introduced to focus on gender, and to enlarge the talent pool of female candidates for FTSE 350 boards. It has subsequently also sought out women of ethnicity, and with other diversity characteristics, which, where known, are included in the profiles. I believe that these women would bring a plethora of different skills and experience to the boards”.
