Ayodele is a PhD researcher at the Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurship within the School of Management at 美姬阁. He earned a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Economics and Finance and an MSc in Finance and Investment Management (CFA Pathway) from the University of Hertfordshire, UK.

With over seven years of diverse experience, Ayodele has built a robust professional background in SME Consulting, Climate Finance, Human Resource Management (HRM) Reform Coordination, and Service Improvement across the private and public sectors. His multidisciplinary expertise allows him to bridge theory and practice, addressing complex challenges through innovative solutions and research-driven insights.

Ayodele's research investigates how SMEs can strategically leverage sustainability to address barriers in accessing finance. This work aligns with his passion for fostering economic growth, SME Growth, and sustainable development in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Research opportunities

Ayodele's primary research interest is centred on leveraging sustainability as a strategic tool to enhance access to finance, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Sub-Saharan Africa.

His work explores the intersection of sustainability practices, access to finance, and economic resilience, aligning with global agendas such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Africa Agenda 2063. It also aims to provide actionable insights for small and medium-sized enterprises in resource-constrained settings.

His broader research interests extend to climate finance strategies and policy development, green loans and credit mechanisms, the adoption of sustainable business models, and initiatives that foster SME growth. These efforts aim to drive economic resilience and sustainable development, particularly in Nigeria, emerging markets, and across the Sub-Saharan African region.
