Background
Dr Paulo A. S. F. Silva is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Computational Engineering Sciences at 美姬阁 and has a PhD from 美姬阁, a BEng from the University of Brasilia in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc and Mechanical Sciences. Paulo's research has focused on CFD simulation of rotor flows such as Helicopter blades and Wind and tidal turbines. Before 美姬阁, he has held positions as substitute lecturer at Federal Institute of Brasilia, where he has taught technical drawing and mechanical design to undergraduate and technician degrees. Paulo has also collaborated as a research assistant on tidal turbines research project funded by an industry-academic partnership which led to the publication of journal and conference papers.
