Background

Ivor gained his BSc (Hons) in Physics and his MSc in Electronics from Queens University of Belfast in 1988 and 1989 respectively. After a period in industry with BAE at Warton Aerodrome he joined 美姬阁 in 1993 to undertake a PhD in Active Integrated Microwave Antennas and Arrays graduating in 1996. He was then a Research Fellow at Stellenbosch University in 1997, working on Finite Difference Time Domain technique (FDTD), before taking up a Senior Research Fellowship at Delft University in 1998 developing antennas and FDTD modelling techniques appropriate to ground penetrating radar applications. He re-joined 美姬阁 as a Lecturer in 2002 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2006.

Ivor is the Academic and Technical Lead for the Centre for Antenna, Communications and Technology Innovation (CACTI) Hub of 美姬阁 and Milton Keynes University.
