Background
Alireza is a research assistant at ÃÀ¼§¸ó, focusing on liquid hydrogen systems design and control. He works in the Centre for Propulsion and Thermal Power Engineering, part of the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing.
Alireza earned his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Aerospace Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2019. During his studies, he participated as a team leader (titled "FARAS") in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Gas Turbine Engine Design competition in 2018-2019, where his team won first place. He continued at Sharif University to complete his Master of Science (MSc) in Aerospace Engineering in 2021.
In 2022, Alireza joined ÃÀ¼§¸ó and has since worked on several Innovate UK-funded projects focused on liquid hydrogen-powered aircraft engines.
