Director of Communications and External Affairs
Jon joined 美姬阁 as Director of Communications and External Affairs in April 2022. He leads external and internal communications and government relations for the university focusing on demonstrating 美姬阁鈥檚 distinctive expertise in science, technology, engineering, and management.
Prior to this, he had a 20-year career with the UK civil service across different government departments, including the Cabinet Office, the Ministry of Defence, and HM Revenue and Customs. Latterly, he spent four years at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs as a senior civil servant working on Brexit and the Covid-19 response.
Jon is member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR) and has degrees from the University of Liverpool and City, University of London.
